Carbon Pitstop Return, Exchange, Refund, and Warranty Policy

Introduction
We are a Canada-based business selling worldwide. Our product lines include custom-made carbon fiber products (designed and built by Carbon Pitstop) and other brands. Please review the separate terms below, which apply based on the type of product purchased.


Section 1: Custom Carbon Fiber Products

Due to the custom-made nature of these products, all sales are final under normal circumstances.

  • Final Sale:
    All custom-made carbon fiber products are produced to your exact specifications. Please review your order carefully before purchase, as these items are not eligible for return or exchange except as noted below.

  • EU Compliance:
    Custom-made products are excluded from the EU statutory right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period) since they are personalized to your specifications.

  • Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items:
    If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at support@carbonpitstop.com. Upon verification, you may be eligible for a return or exchange, in which case:

    • The 20% restocking fee may be waived.
    • If the return is not due to our error, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • How to Initiate:
    To request a return or exchange, please email returns@carbonpitstop.com with your order details and a description of your issue.

Section 2: Standard Products

For our standard items, we offer a flexible return window, warranty coverage, and EU compliance.

  • Return Window:
    You have 30 days from the date of receipt to request a return.

  • EU Compliance:
    For orders shipped to the European Union, you have the statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days from receipt in accordance with EU consumer law. If you choose to exercise this right, the following return conditions apply.

  • Return Condition:
    Items must be returned in their original condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories, along with your receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Restocking Fee:
    A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for non-defect returns or exchanges.

  • How to Initiate a Return:
    Contact us at returns@carbonpitstop.com with your order details to start the return process.

  • Refund Process:
    Once your return is received and inspected:

    • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    • Approved refunds (minus the 20% restocking fee for non-defect returns) will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
    • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
    • For returns not due to our error, you will be responsible for any return shipping costs.
  • Warranty Coverage:
    All standard products carry a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover:

    • Damage due to misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.
    • Alterations or repairs performed by unauthorized service centers.
  • Warranty Claims:
    To file a warranty claim, please provide a detailed description of the defect along with your order information by contacting us at support@carbonpitstop.com.

  • Exchanges:
    Exchanges for standard products follow the same process and conditions as returns. Once your return is accepted, you may place a new order for the replacement item.
